Truthfully, none of this outfit was purchased in the hopes of creating this particular outfit, but I am ecstatic with how it works so well together. When I purchased the tribal tunic for this blog post, I fell in love with this top and had to have it, too. ChicWish is an overseas company that produces quality items, and this top is one of my go-to favs for this season. I love how it’s so carefree and unstructured. Also, this shade of blue is not something I would normally wear, but I love the soft look it provides.
The scarf was something I had to search to find in stock. Zara was the original manufacturer of the blanket scarf, which sold out in mere hours following its debut last fall. Other retailers soon picked up on this particular trend and were manufacturing replicas that sold just as quickly. When I found mine on eBay, I thought “I’ll give it a try. I don’t have much to lose.” Imagine my reaction when I opened up the International Express Mail package. IT WAS THE ZARA SCARF AND HAD THE ZARA TAG! I ‘m not sure how a Zara scarf fell into my lap for a mere $10, but I know Zara – having been a customer of theirs for years – and the tag was identical to the unique Zara International clothing tags.
For me, the jeans were a must buy because I had done extensive research on the fall/winter jean trend and knew skinny, destroyed with lots of whitewashing was going to be my best pair to find. Naturally when I found these, they were an instant click and buy! The best part about this transaction from Lucca Lane Boutique was that the owner sent a personalized, handwritten “Thank you” note for supporting her small business. Just because of that, I will purchase more items from her stock because I value a shop when they value their customer!
Lastly, the boots are completely sold out everywhere. After all, Arthuro Chang makes an amazing boot. I first purchased these boots from Dillard’s. Upon receiving them, I discovered I needed a half size larger, so I sold them to my mom. Well she kept getting compliment after compliment on them when we would be out, and, yes, I was jealous. So just as everything else I covet, I was on the hunt to find the boots. Victory was mine when I found them via eBay. Get your search on! Before you look too far, these are A-MAZ-ING. Had I not already purchased the twin to my mom’s, I would be putting my best foot forward in these!
Styling you Spectacular,
XO – Talia
